we’re ONE!

WOW!

what a year it has been. i officially started my instagram page for, from the kitchen of a, on july 12th of 2024. it has been a crazy year.

when i first made my introduction on instagram, i stated some fun facts and one specific extra fun fact. let’s compare those.

2024 vs 2025.

• i have a pitbull - now we have TWO!

• we had zero cats - now we have TWO and a kitten that found us.

• we had no turtles anymore - now we have another red ear slider!

• we had nine ducks - now we have 21.

• no chickens to 13 hens and 3 roosters.

• no goats to 12.

• everything else is the same pretty much! we are adding new things to our site throughout the year, sharing our knowledge about organic homesteading and so much more.

the super fun fact was that i wanted to open up my own herbal shop with natural remedies. i did open up a herbal remedy website soon after and now, a year later, we’re in a storefront. i’d love to have our own brick and mortar one day, so that is the ultimate goal! until then, our main focus is adding new items for y’all to enjoy and continue educating others in a fun way. y’all have been so supportive and i love y’all! thank you for watching our journey and allowing us to share it with y’all.
