who we are

hey, hey! welcome to our site. i am alexandria aka “a”. i have had this nickname for quite a few years and use “av” for most my business ventures. this one is a tad more personal and i give my whole self to this lifestyle. i am a wife and then some. i keep my life relatively private while trying to share rad moments with you.

if i had to give a quick snippet on myself, it would be: i love the mountains and all things nature. i am a complete virgo and you’ll understand that pretty fast. i photograph things in my free time and believe that i can never have enough things to do. i’m always adding things to my plate and i truly love it. i am an introvert thru and thru. find me at home jamming out to my music and dancing in my own company.

i run our homestead and wrangle my husband to facebook marketplace adventures, when it used to be the other way around. (the only difference is he still does, but mine are always regarding animals). we have nineteen ducks, no chickens anymore as we culled them (but we plan on getting more one day from my sweet friend at two cedar station!) we also have two pitbulls, plus two sweet sister kittens and a orange kitty. i plan on extending our animals in 2026. we now have three female nigerian dwarfs, four of our og myotonic (fainting) bucks, and our puppy dog of a goat, winston. i plan to see if our girls put out any kids and we’ll go from there. i can’t wait to see what the future brings for our farm.

our dream is to be 90% self sufficient. we hope to call the mountains our home one day with some highland cows, horses, bison and much more. we are so glad you are here and hope you enjoy it.
