tattoo balm
where my tattoo lovers at?! we love the needle, but we also want to preserve how great that new ink looks (and maybe freshen up the older ones we’ve been neglecting). i know — tattoos aren’t natural… but let’s be honest, we’re not giving them up. for those of us who want a more natural way to care for our tattoos, this balm is it.
made with all organic ingredients — unrefined shea butter, cold pressed coconut oil, cold pressed jojoba oil, cold pressed calendula oil, cold pressed vitamin e oil, white beeswax, and high quality lavender essential oil.
benefits of unrefined shea butter:
rich in essential nutrients and natural antioxidants, shea butter soothes irritation and helps reduce redness and swelling. it’s a deeply nourishing moisturizer that supports skin recovery.
benefits of coconut oil:
made up of 49% natural antimicrobial properties, coconut oil helps soothe, moisturize, and protect skin. it can also assist in healing mild wounds and preventing dryness.
benefits of jojoba oil:
jojoba oil closely mimics the skin’s natural sebum, helping restore its barrier. it’s anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and known for its ability to support skin repair and elasticity.
benefits of calendula oil:
packed with all the “anti’s” — antiviral, antiseptic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory. calendula oil promotes wound healing and is ideal for soothing irritated or healing skin.
benefits of vitamin e oil:
rich in antioxidants, vitamin e protects skin cells from free radicals, supports scar reduction, and helps calm inflammation.
benefits of beeswax:
a powerhouse emollient that softens and soothes skin while locking in moisture. beeswax is also vitamin-rich and helps protect against environmental stressors.
benefits of lavender essential oil:
lavender essential oil provides a calming aroma while aiding in wound healing and collagen production. it also reduces pain and inflammation, making it perfect for fresh ink.
settling will occur naturally over time, giving each balm its own unique look once fully cured.
